Questions volleyball coaches ask
Can I run a separate clinic for each age group?
Yes. Make one clinic per group, like 13/14s at 9:00 and 15–17s at 10:45, each with its own size, time and price per spot, and repeat them weekly.
How is this better than a shared sign-up sheet?
Families take a spot from their phone instead of typing into a sheet. Nobody can overwrite another family's row, a full clinic shows Full, and families never see each other's names or numbers.
I rent gym time. Can I pass that on?
Yes. Add the gym fee as a fee, by the hour or flat. Families see it on top of the lesson price when they book, and you choose whether a late cancel still owes it. A fee applies to every lesson, so it suits coaches who always pay for the gym.
What happens when a clinic is full?
Families join the waitlist from their phone. If a spot opens, the first in line is booked in automatically and their family is told. The waitlist stops moving 2 hours before the start, so nobody is surprised with a spot at the last minute.
A family has two players in different age groups. Does that work?
Yes. Siblings share one family login, and each player takes a spot in their own clinic.
What if a family cancels late?
Set a cancellation window. A lesson cancelled inside it, or missed, is marked owed, and you can waive it whenever you like.
Do families get reminders?
Yes, automatically, 24 hours and 2 hours before every lesson, as a notification on their phone or a text.
Do families pay anything to use it?
No. Families book and message you for free, from any phone browser. An iPhone app is on the way.
